International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme
ISR currently implements the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IBPYP) in the Primary school. Learning in the PYP is underpinned by six transdisciplinary themes, each selected for their relevance to the real world. These themes together form a programme of inquiry.
Life skills and academic knowledge
The school has been implementing this programme since it was founded and the programme was chosen because it strives to develop a whole child, considering conceptual understandings and life skills as important as academic knowledge.

Over the years ISR school has developed its own programme of inquiry and scope & sequence documents for all subject areas. Inquiry-based teaching and learning helps students to learn how to learn and take action by using what they have learned. Find the Programme of Inquiry here.
