School Council
The School is founded by an Association, which is governed by the School Council consisting of 7 Members elected at a General Meeting from among the members of the Association (parents or guardians of students). Each Council member serves for a four-year term, contributing their expertise and experience from their respective professions
The ISR School Council acts as the supervisory institution of the Association, representing the interests of members between General Meetings and overseeing the activities of the Board in accordance with the Articles of Association, the Regulations of the Board, and applicable laws.
The principal responsibilities of the School Council include:
- Hiring and evaluating the School Director.
- Overseeing the initiation, development, and evaluation of the four-year strategic planning cycle.
Performing fiduciary duties, including:
- Reviewing enrollment fees, yearly membership fees, and other related costs for the upcoming school year and proposing them for approval at the General Meeting.
- Approving the Association’s 12-month budget and any necessary adjustments, considering the membership fees approved by the General Meeting.
- Appointing and dismissing a sworn auditor.
- Monitoring the implementation of General Meeting decisions, making strategic decisions for the Association, and preparing reports for review by members.
The School Council operates through four standing committees, each composed of at least three Council members:
