ISR has proudly secured a place among the top five small schools in Latvia, as recognized in the 2023/2024 academic year rankings published by the Ata Kronvalds Foundation. The Ata Kronvalds Foundation, a respected organization dedicated to fostering academic talent in Latvia, compiles an annual ranking of schools based on their success in national and open Olympiads and student scientific research competitions. These rankings are a reflection of the schools’ effectiveness in nurturing gifted students and providing them with the opportunities to excel.
In the latest rankings, ISR was evaluated alongside 125 small schools nationwide. Our school’s placement in the top five highlights the exceptional achievements of our students in a wide range of subjects, including languages, sciences, mathematics, and social studies. The recognition also reflects the dedication of our teachers, who have tirelessly supported and guided our students to reach their full potential.
Henriks Danusēvičs, a representative of the Ata Kronvalds Foundation, noted that the rankings are based on a detailed points system that assesses student performance in various competitive academic fields. ISR’s strong showing in these evaluations demonstrates our ability to compete at the highest levels and to provide a quality education that prepares students for future success. As newcomers to the top five of the small school’s group, securing the fifth place means that ISR demonstrates the capabilities and competitiveness of private schools, according to a representative of the Ata Kronvalds Foundation.
