Dear Friends,

It goes without saying that we are all happy to have our children back to school!

PTO (parent teacher organization) would like to announce a Charity Week as coming Monday (September, 5) without any further delay.

Thanks to the long weekend ahead of us, you will hopefully have the time to find the things around your home which can be donated to the people in need.

Your donations will be collected with gratitude and delivered to the “Fall 2022 Charity Drive” run by the International Women’s Club. Collected items will be donated to a handful of different Latvian organizations, including Hope for Children, St. Saviour’s Church Soup Kitchen, Marta, SOS Children’s Villages, Foster Families, Palliative Care Association, and Latvian Samaritan Association.

During the whole week you can drop off your donations at our campuses – V3, V9 and K118 – during certain time slots (as the kids are on the campuses already, we have to narrow them for health security reasons).

WHAT : Charity Week

WHEN : everyday on 5 – 8 September at 08.00-08.30 and 14.45-16.00

WHERE: V3 – at the front desk(door code 1212#);
V9 – in the front door lobby next to the piano;
K118 – under the roof of the play area.
There will be a poster “ISR Charity Week” on both sites.

WHAT CAN BE DONATED:
– Bed Linens;
– Men’s, Women’s, and Children’s clothing;
– Towels; Children’s toys;
– Kitchen items;
– Shoes and footwear;
– Sports equipment;
– Table games (w/all pieces);
– Home décor;
– Outdoor decorations;
– Picture frames;
– Arts and craft materials;
– Backpacks and school supplies.

If it is problematic for you to drop off your donations at these certain times, please, send us a message to pto@isriga.lv and we will find a way to collect them from you.
