Welcome to the 2025–2026 Academic Year at the International School of Riga!
We are so glad you are part of the ISR community. Since 1995, the International School of Riga has proudly served internationally minded people, offering a supportive, inclusive, and globally focused education.
As an IB World School, we are proud to offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Diploma Programme (DP), and we are continuing our candidacy for the Middle Years Programme (MYP). Our learning approach is rooted in inquiry, concept-based learning, and student agency, empowering students to think critically, ask questions, and take ownership of their learning.
At ISR, we are committed to creating a nurturing and caring learning environment where all students are supported to reach their full potential. We have the support structures in place to ensure an inclusive learning experience for every child, including English Language support with EAL teachers on both campuses, a Social Emotional Counselor at each campus, and a dedicated College and Career Counselor in our Secondary School.
We are especially excited to welcome students this year to our new Secondary Campus, a space purpose-built to support academic excellence and holistic student development.
As we begin this school year, I am proud to be entering my seventh year at ISR and my third year as Director. It is a true honor and privilege to serve this exceptional community of caring teachers, supportive parents, dedicated staff, and inspiring students.
