ISR Summer Camp 2020

Summer Day Camp at ISR has long been established as a school tradition. Summer 2020 will be no exception. This summer, there are 3 different opportunities to enroll your child or teenager: the Primary Day Camp, for children aged 3 to 10, the Secondary Day Camp, for teenagers aged 11 to 15 and a big novelty – the first Overnight Summer Camp (6 nights).

Primary Day Camp

Aimed at children aged 3 to 10, the Primary Day Camp will run for 3 weeks:

Week 1 – June 29-July 3

Week 2 – July 6-10

Week 3 – July 13-17

The camp will be held at our Secondary Campus on Kalnciema iela 118, from 8:30 to 17:00. The program is conducted in English and includes two field trips per week and daily hot lunch (morning and afternoon snacks should be provided by parents). There is a wide range of fun, daily activities suitable for all ages: team building games, arts & crafts, cooking, outdoor sport activities, music, science, English language games, story reading, and more!

Secondary Day Camp

Aimed at teenagers aged 11 to 15, the Secondary Day Camp will run for 3 weeks:

Week 1 – June 29-July 3

Week 2 – July 6-10

Week 3 – July 13-17

The camp will be held at our Secondary Campus on Kalnciema iela 9, from 8:30 to 17:00. The camp is run by our international Secondary teachers and gives participants the opportunity to build their English, Maths and Science skills, play football, badminton, table tennis, create art and participate in various other activities while making new friends.

The Summer Camp teachers provide an individual approach so all students will be engaged and spend valuable time, regardless of their level. The program is conducted in English and includes daily hot lunch (morning and afternoon snacks should be provided by parents).

Overnight Summer Camp

Aimed at children aged 8 to 12, the Overnight Summer Camp will take place from June 28 to July 3rd, for 6 days and 5 nights, in Baiļi, a canoeing center and camping close to Valmiera. The camp will be focused on outdoor activities and team building, with special activities organized by the event agency “Eži”; activities include rock climbing, hiking, biking trips, canoeing, scavenger hunts, night tracks…

The camp will be led by our ISR teachers, with Mr. Victor López, Ms. Sanita Čodare and Ms. Liene Salmina already confirmed. It is an amazing opportunity for children to participate in a once in a lifetime adventure this summer!
