It‘s a pleasure to introduce myself as your new Primary Dean of Students. With over a decade of experience as a Primary Years Programme (PYP) educator, I have had the privilege of teaching across both early years and primary. A recent Master of Education from the University of the People further strengthened my commitment to the PYP framework. It was a wonderful opportunity to collaborate and learn alongside fellow educators from around the globe, and their diverse perspectives enriched my understanding of student agency and well-being. I’m eager to apply my experience in this new role and learn alongside the vibrant community of ISR. I am committed to helping create an inclusive environment where every child feels a sense of belonging. When I’m not at school, I love to spend time with my family enjoying the outdoors.

I‘m Latvian, born in Riga. I have recently transitioned into the education sector from a variety of business backgrounds.Throughout my professional journey, I’ve continuously sought opportunities to grow by learning and doing different things, and expanded my perspective by living abroad for almost a decade. I’m happy to be part of ISR and look forward to growing together. In my free time, I enjoy an active lifestyle together with my family, playing badminton, running, reading, and playing the piano.
